4th annual Nashville Street Food Awards

JOIN US AT THIS YEAR'S NASHVILLE STREET FOOD AWARDS!

The Nashville Food Truck Association (NFTA) will present the 4th annual “Nashville Street Food Awards,” Saturday, October 17, 12:00-4:00 p.m., at Nashville Farmers Market. The “Nashville Street Food Awards,” which is a free, public, all-ages event, will include more than 25 NFTA members participating in a friendly competition. A panel of judges will sample blind entries from the trucks in a variety of street food categories, with winners named throughout the event.

The “Nashville Street Food Awards” will take place at Nashville Farmers Market, 900 Rosa L Parks Blvd. Attendees will have the opportunity purchase food from all participating trucks, including a variety of their contest entries.

Categories for the “Nashville Street Food Awards” will include a variety of Nashville-inspired and street food standards, including Best Taco, Best Between Bread, Best Smoked, Best Dessert, Best Hot Nashville, Best Vegetarian, Best Deep Fried, and Best Drink. There will be two Nashville brands featured in categories, Best Yazoo and Best Christie Cookie. The judges will score based on appearance, taste, and overall, which will determine the first place winner for each category.

In addition to the food truck fare, attendees will enjoy live music, an assortment of vendors, and activities for children. In partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee, the NFTA will host a canned food drive on site.

Participating trucks include Bacon Nation, Banh Mi & Roll, Bao Down, Chapmans II, Coco’s Italian Market, Dawg Daze, Deg Thai, Electric Sliders, Gee Ma's, Grilled Cheeserie, Hoss’ Loaded Burgers, Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams, Julia's Bakery, Lil Choo Choo BBQ, Moovers & Shakers, Music City Brisket, Music City Rice & Roll, Nashville Burrito Co., Riffs Fine Street Food/Funk Seoul Brother, The Rolling Feast, Sehrt Seafood, Smoke Et Al, Steaming Goat and Taste of Nature.

The “Nashville Street Food Awards” is a free, public, all-ages event. Participating trucks and categories are subject to change without notice.
