So you want to book a food truck

2.11.16

It's cold. You're probably not thinking about booking a food truck for your upcoming charity event/festival/wedding/etc., but the food truck owners are certainly thinking about the year ahead. In fact, most of their food truck season is booked solid within the first few months of the year. If you're thinking of booking a food truck, here are some things to consider:

  • Do you want a specific truck? The best option is to reach out directly to that truck owner. We have a list of all NFTA members with links to their websites here.
  • Do you have a specific date? Book your truck in advance - months in advance if you can manage it.
  • Do you want to reach a lot of trucks at once? Fill out this form. We assure you it goes to the trucks; if you don't get a response it means there isn't availability.
  • Did you send a private message to NFTA on Facebook? Don't. Your message won't get to the trucks; reach out to them directly.
  • Is your event tomorrow? It's very likely going to be too late, though we'll do our best.
  • Do you have a budget? Because each truck is run independently, the costs to have that truck serve at your event will vary.

We are appreciative that the demand for food trucks continues to grow. We love serving at all kinds of events! We hope this has been helpful, and we look forward to serving you soon.
